Sony Xperia G will supposedly be the company's first mid-range smartphone for this year. Since Sony has already announced a high-profile device at CES last month - the Xperia Z1 Compact, and followed with the T2 Ultra phablet shortly after we expect the focus at the MWC to shift to mid-range and budget smartphones.
There is no additional information about the Sony Xperia G aside from what we can see on the picture. Obviously, it has the same design and footprint as the Xperia Z1 Compact. This means the display will be 4.3" or smaller, but that's all we get at this point.
Chances are the Sony Xperia G will be unveiled at the MWC, which starts on February 24.
