Watch the Google I/O keynote speech live here

8:50 AM

Google's annual developer conference - Google I/O - is starting in just under an hour and we have the livestream of the keynote speech waiting for you here.

Google is expected to drop the latest major release of Android today. It's rumored to be called Android 5.0 Lollipop but there's not much else we know about it at this point.

Google is also expected to talk about Glass, perhaps bringing new Glass hardware.

There could be a new tablet on the Google I/O as well, perhaps an HTC's made 8.9" Volantis to challenge the Apple iPad mini 2. There's a vague possibility of a Moto X+1 showing up as well.

Android Wear is certainly making an appearance today as well. We're expecting the Moto 360 smartwatch to be shown, as well as an LG G Watch and even a Samsung Gear Live - all powered by Android Wear.

Last but not least there could be an Android TV part of the event.
