Samsung has begun rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat firmware for the Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone. The update includes all Android features up to version 4.4.2 plus updated TouchWiz launcher.
The first market to get the update is India, where the dual-SIM flavor of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is now getting update notifications across the country. We expect both single and dual-SIM Grand 2 devices worldwide to get the KitKat treatment in the upcoming weeks.
Currently the new firmware is available over-the-air and weighs about 360MB. It should pop up on Samsung Kies suite very soon, too.
